In his role patron Brett will partner with Fine Music on new and existing projects. “Fine Music has enjoyed a strong relationship with Sydney Philharmonia Choirs for many years, and we are delighted Brett is able to continue this in his new capacity as Fine Music Artistic Patron” said Fine Music Board Chair, David Brett, of the appointment.
This sentiment was echoed by Fine Music Station Manager Rebecca Beare who said “We are proud to welcome Brett Weymark to our long list of impressive patrons, his commitment to the Sydney fine music scene is one which we warmly embrace, we are overjoyed that as a long-time listener Brett can support us as a patron” she concluded. In return Brett will have the opportunity to explore his passion: the voice as a basic human right and its ability to facilitate true musical expression. According to Brett, “we sang and danced long before we spoke and we all benefit from allowing people to express themselves through song, from young children through to those of a certain age - you are never too old or too young to benefit from singing”.
